This is an example of what happens when woodworm and an earthquake meet. The clock came off the wall with a great deal of force.

This was really a fun project. Missing the birds and foliage. The base was in several pieces. Repaired the movement. In the end, the bird at the top of the bush flaps his wings. There is a hummingbird that jumps from branch to branch. The bird on the bottom dips and drinks from the pond. The crystal rod turns and simulates a waterfall. The clock was missing most of the escapement.

When this bird arrived he was completely glued and painted to the point where he was one solid block. I soaked him in solvent to remove the paint and when I pulled him out of the bucket, he looked just like the picture on the left. The paint was all that was holding him together. He was missing one wing hinge and both of the return springs on his wings.
