Close up of Monkey music teacher

I saw this toy in an old book on automata. The original was sand powered. I decided to use an old music box movement to power mine. Both monkeys heads and arms move. Hand built with artwork by me.

A little girl in a rose bud blowing kisses. Upon winding the music plays and the lid begins to slowly open. The little girl peeks out. The lid continues to raise and the girl rises and turns all the while blowing kisses. She turns back and begins to drop back into the rose while the lid closes behind her.
